Our company was established in early 2013, to help businesses develop and automate Microsoft Excel models. In response to client demand we developed our Excel training offering shortly thereafter. Training became our passion. The following six years saw Excel Consulting expand to all major cities across Australia, introducing over a dozen new courses and growing a team of professional trainers, dedicated researchers and in-house course creators.

As we continued to innovate and grow, we felt it necessary to realign our brand. We continuously search for and discover new IT advancements, designing and delivering unique courses which provide a productivity advantage for each and every participant. Our new brand was developed to reflect our continued momentum and embodies our passions as supportive educators, engaging innovators and market leaders.

So in October 2019 Excel Consulting shed its old skin and became Nexacu, where knowledge and experience come together to create next level learning. In the same month, we were also delighted to be included in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list. This is recognition of our growth and reflects our commitment to reinvesting in continuous improvement.

2014

Excel Consulting Pty Ltd Established

Founded in Brisbane, Excel Consulting began as a specialist consultancy helping businesses streamline processes and develop powerful Microsoft Excel models.

2015

First Public Training Course Delivered

Recognising the need for high-quality, practical Excel training, the team delivered its first public training course.

2016

First Full-Time Trainer Joins the Team

Nexacu welcomed its first full-time trainer, forming a dedicated team of Microsoft educators.

2018

10,000 Reviews Submitted

Nexacu had trained thousands of professionals and received over 10,000 positive reviews.

2019

Rebrand to Nexacu

To reflect its evolution, the business rebranded from Excel Consulting to Nexacu.

2020

Nexacu Expands to Asia

Nexacu began offering instructor-led online training to businesses across the Asia-Pacific region.

2022

Acquired by Lumify Group

Nexacu joined the Lumify Group, Australia’s largest corporate IT training provider.

2023

Acquisition of City Desktop Training

Nexacu acquired City Desktop Training, expanding its offerings to include Adobe Creative Cloud and Web Design.

2024

Acquisition of Wizard Corporate Training

Nexacu acquired Wizard Corporate Training, enhancing its leadership and communication training.
