Kate is very knowledgeable about the topic and presented the material in a clear and engaging manner. She demonstrated enthusiasm for the subject and an interest in how the students were following along which isn’t always easy in a remote setting. I felt that the learning process was enjoyable, effective, and practical to my role. The course content was well-structured and covered the main topics within the allotted time. I also appreciate that Kate worked through the steps on-screen instead of simply giving the students a pdf lab to follow. Kate took time during the training to address questions and then was available at the end to assist with specific SharePoint issues and questions related to the student’s work settings. It took over 30 minutes at the start of the course to troubleshoot access to the training site, which, in my case, required searching for a non-company laptop available at home. Knowing about the potential browser issues beforehand would have been helpful, so I could have prepared in advance. I missed part of the training session while sourcing a different laptop, even though I reviewed the tech requirements before the training. Despite the initial technical issues, Kate demonstrated patience, working through various steps to help students gain access to the course.

Kate delivered the course well. A suggestion might be to send everyone out the setting up the Guest Profile on the internet browser for people to try and setup before the course.
